last sale I had the same problem and got to the pay now part and then it timed out 4 times after paying! I only got charged on the final one that went through!
After trying so many times i called AA because i was unsure if I had been charged each time,I actually got through!? I was told on the phone to book without seats etc and payment will go through.
If you have been charged you will receive an itinerary by email and it will show up on "manage my bookings"
