I can't believe that so many gullible saps will actually line up to give this crafty old man their hard-earned AUD30 for an enlightening 'chat'.
This guy is cashing in big time.
Some self absorbed woman writes some tripe about her pathetic exploits in this god-awful book EatPrayLove and happens to chance upon some spiritual healer in the backstreets of Ubud and all of a sudden Ketut 'Liar' (as I believe he's affectionately known) is a god-send to all those lost souls looking for meaning, purpose and confirmation in their lives.
EatPrayLove is the worst thing that could have happened to Ubud.
The streets are now full of small groups of '30 something' women with maps searching for spiritual nirvana.
Hey guys! You better head up there quick. There may be quite a few shoulders that need crying on, or women looking for an EPL-like romance depending on the outcome of the 'chat' with Ketut.
Yes, TiaMaria, I know where you're coming from and I know what you're saying. But if it's all the same to you, I'll keep my 'hard-earned' in my pocket and 'seek the answers that already lie within'.
It's only my opinion of course, but if you really wanted a 'feelgood' whilst getting rid of $30, you should have given it to an orphanage.
