good luck. Iw as on exact same time flight ect last Thursday night
I called virgin on 4 occasions and each time I was told I did not have to collect my luggage at Melbourne that it owuld be forwarded on. This is DEFINATELY not the casae You will have to collect luggage and clear customs. They did hold flight for us as me and many other passengers where complaining as we still didn't have all our luggage at 9.45. We did not stop for toilet or duty free went straight to luggage but the fragiles took ages to come. We ran to domestic flagged some virgin staff memebr for help she radiod someone in authorty and got our luggage urgently thorugh and we where told to run to the gate, just made it. The flight left about 30 minutes later than scheduled as many passengers just couldn't physically make it with the luggage and customs process. Cheers
