I agree with you when the flight times are lengthy and all you want to do is get home. Maybe you could look into direct flights from Sydney if it is too stressful for you. Don't let the flight home be your focus.When you start to write that JBR and remember the good times you had the flight will be insignificant. To pissing cecil and smithy , get off this forum if all you want to contribute is negativity. Go and bother somebody else.
