We lived in Legian for a year and I used to buy some rat poison that looked like small blocks of dark green chocolate. I bought it from the little hardware shop near the corner of Jl Legian and Double Six. Very effective. We had an enclosed yard in our Villa, so didn't have to worry about dog eating it.
