I thought i would write a fews things down.
We stayed at the Bali Garden Hotel:good location close to everything. rooms are big but could do with a revamp.bed was a super king very comfortable new bed side tables and lights. breakfast not the best but it did the job. staff good.and plenty of security guards.and if you need a good laundry go out of the hotel turn right walk for about 1 hundred metres then left down a cobblestone right of way.
ATMS:across the road from hotel all worked fine.
BALI BELLY: never had a problem just use good hygiene.
DENGUE FEVER:never even saw a mozzie. just be aware of the dangers of dengue.
WINE:you can get Hattens 2 litre casks from the Hyper Mart it is close to the DFS Galleria duty free place price was about 200.000 for 2 litres.
TAXIS:use the Blue Bird Group taxis the metres a sealed by the Goverment we used the on numerous times.
HAWKERS:just say no thanks smile and keep walking.
When we go on holiday we make up our own mind on the place and enjoy it regardless.
