you get there early!We decided to go for sunset, took the taxi there, arrived about 5pm. And then waited in line at the top of the cliff for an hour and a half before we gave up and left. Nobody could tell us how long it would be before we could go down. And they kept bringing people up but not taking anyone down. So if you are going for sunset I'd get there about 3pm.
By the way, it looks amazing ... that's why we waited so long hoping to get down there. You'll be fine with sandals/slip ons.
