Sindhu beach market is along Sanur beachfront. If you locate Bonsai restaurant, turn left at beachfront and walk 30 metres or so. Be prepared to be be-friended by Balinese lady, chit chatting away, then in for the kill, you buy at my market shop!
They sell mainly clothes, shoes, all the usual market lines, but same same but different from Legian/Kuta. No food or vegetables. Not local market.
Legian early morning local market has produce, meat, veg, fruit for locals daily needs, spices, flowers, local clothing (ideal for sponsor children or locals). Household cleaning, hairwear, som dvds and music. Lots of take-away food and cakes/ baked goods. It doesnt sell tourist type market wares.
