Don't forget to consider pre-existing conditions - these can alter (ie increase the price of)the cost of the cover you are looking at - I found that Travel Insurance Direct was very restrictive regarding pre-existing cover (ie its only available on their world wide cover), our standard cover price with Southern Cross for 2 weeks in Bali went from $105.00 to $350.00 when pre-existing conditions were covered. Southern Cross were one of the only firms that would cover the pre-existing conditions we wanted to include.
