I contracted Dengue a couple of years ago in Legian.I was sick for around 2 weeks. On returning to Oz, my doctor told me in future to avoid a few mozzie favorites. Such as wearing black and wearing perfume and to always apply repellent particularly early morning when it seems they are at their most formidable.It certainly has not stopped me from returning to Bali.
