I have a one year old and this is her third trip to Bali. She is not a huge fan of the pram at best of times but when things heat up over here, she hates it even more. We bring our urban buggy over, one wheel and front and easy to drive and handles the ups and downs on the road. My hubbie just gets out on the road with the bikes and cars and pushes up the road, too hard to do the pavements. We tossed up bringing the stoller this time as she was bigger but 1 doesnt give great sun protection and 2 not so great for sleeping when out and about and better protection against mozzies, which we find huge prob when out for dinner! We also bring our P&T cot [2.5kg] as we have found the cots a bit rickety over here with rather soft mattresses. For highchair we use a plastic fold up one that weights nothing and clips onto table or a material one we have that attaches to any chair whilst out [totseat]. We buy a big tub over here and have water and a couple of Milton tablets and we throw everything in in overnight ie sorry to say occasional dummy, spoons, waterbottle etc, just to get those germs off! We put all our things in the pram carry bag and that just goes underneath and we dont have to pay anything. We have also never had a long wait at airport so dont keep the pram - just offload ASAP. And she is not walking yet, so she keeps us on our toes!
