It is absolute chaos, no fingerprinting or photos being done, VIPVOA is still happening, obviously whilst everything is on hold. Looked like 2 other planes had landed before us, we had expected this. Very very very very long walk from plane, actually more of a quick run....to no avail we started in the nearest queue in front of voa signs, the queue wasn't moving but then no one else was either, I happened to look behind and there was the new voa counters, left hubby in the queue and got the voa, no hassles we had us dollars. Back in the first queue with the signs saying voa???? Then we notice some officials taking those at the back of queues around to the local entry area, we soon got into that queue and was through quite quickly. The officials in their wisdom had opened up all immigration counters for all to head through. It was at these counters that we saw the fingerprinting and camera equipment. Through immigration and then to luggage collection, got the only 3 wheelled trolley! On our way with the luggage and then through the old hand luggage x-ray setup which had been moved, now everything goes through the x-ray, so you can imagine the holdup with everyone having to lift their heavy suitases up and into the machines. Easy once through straight to the man collecting the declaration forms and out to the humidity.
Rate in Tuban 8250, hugh humnidiyt, stormy clouds, Ida is the best hotel, got our old room back, pool great.
Trouble with our Pro XL sim cards, apparently a free day for all Pro XL sim card users, the system can't manage it. Hope this doesn't put you off...loving it
