It took us 40 minutes to get to the rock bar from Kuta. Regarding the cost via transport I am sorry I cannot help as the friend I travelled with has a friend that works at the rock bar and they picked us up and took us. One bit of advise try to avoid the place on Friday, Sat nights as it is packed. We went on a Tuesday night but make sure you get there around 5pm (this is when it opens) as from 6.00pm onwards it really started to fill up. We had the lobster spring rolls which where yummy. The cocktails where costing us around 105K each and the bintangs 55K each plus tax (ouch) however you would be paying similar in Australia for an attraction of the same quality and setting as this.
