i would just go to jogja and get a taxi to jl, marborol(sp) where all the major hotels are. there you can find many choices of hotel and there are many ways to go to bourdabour. when i went, we just made deal with a taxi driver to pick us up at 5 am so we could get there for the sunrise! it is beautiful! wear good walking shoes as there is many levels to climb. also, by going early in the morn, you beat the big tour busses and have the palce almost to yourselves! it is woth the trip!!!! enjoy!!
