Like Australia, you can buy hi index lenses in Bali. These lenses are thin despite a high prescription.
I bought a pair of glasses with hi index lenses last year in Bali. The glasses cost me Rp 1.4m. The lenses had to be delivered from Jakarta. The glasses were ready after one week.
For some reason, dyera's optician sold a pair of glasses with non hi index lenses.
