You know, it takes so long to get through security checks, paying departure tax, immigration, and more security checks, then boarding around 20 mins before departure, that the 90 mins goes past without any long periods of sitting around.
Last time I went through I recall thinking that if we had got to the airport any later it would have been a bit stressful timewise.
It really isn't like you check in and then sit there for 90 mins.
I don't know for sure, but I haven't heard of a minding service that would be allowed to follow you through immigration.
