I stayed there last week (at Hotel). Originally booked into the cottages but when we got there they told us that the cottages were not available so they upgraded our room and moved us to the hotel (Superior Room) This was set furthest back in the hotel (2nd flr). We had a look at the cottages the next day and they were nice too but decided to stay in the hotel. There was a wide mix of people there. From young families to middle aged and some elderly people. Quite a few Japanese and Swedish. People were having a good time in the pool but would not call it overly loud or "boganish". Although there is renos being done, couldnt hear any noise from them. Only noise we heard from our room was an rooster that lived in the property behind and didnt know what time morning was. Breakfast was ok, usual eggs, cereal, coffee/tea, rice, noodles, bacon, tomato, fruit etc. Cottages are used as a walkthru from Jl Legian to the Hotel so a bit of people traffic at all hours there but cant say how loud that would be. Bathrooms in Hotel were clean although a bit dated. Any questions feel free to ask.
Cheers
Di.
