Arrived back from 9 terrific days in beautiful Bali, and just have to say, we had a wonderful night at "The Tree" on Tuesday evening. Purely R&D of course! 12 of us got together for dinner and binnies, and had a great evening.
Food was excellent, atmosphere was good, staff were wonderful. Prices were very reasonable, good value for money we felt! After sufficient throat lubrication with cold soothing bintangs, we even enjoyed a little sing along with Darrielle (spell?) the entertainer of the evening, who was most enjoyable and pleasant to listen to, and a lovely guy!
The Tree staff will pick you up from your villa or hotel if you are staying locally in TB/ND area and drop you home at the end of your evening (complimentary of course). We told the driver not to wait for us, as usual, we just werent ready to go home, and didnt want him waiting on us!
Though eventually they were wanting to close around 1am, so we caught the bluebird back to our villa. Most enjoyable evening, will certainly become one of our regular places to visit each trip! And would recommend it to anyone in the area.
Hope to get some photos up on facebook in next day or two of our trip, our orphanage visits (2 that we always visit and a new one we were recently told about), our Dawn service for ANZAC out on a private charter boat, which was just the best..hmmm maybe I should doing a proper JBR - just means I need to remember it all..LOL
I will do that shortly...but The Tree does rock!
