my husband surfs and the kids and I chilled at the beach or pool and spent hours snorkelling - we loved the place although not the cold shower so much. Accommodation is basic but clean with a safe in the room and a ceiling fan. Mossie nets, spray etc needed. The mix of people was good from young 20's surfer guys and girls mainly Euro's to surfing families like ours. Everyone was there to surf. The food and restaurant is basic but good, the beach warungs are great during the day. All very cheap. Very quiet chilled atmosphere and the added bonus is the pool. Bring your cards, games and books for the evening. One telly which we had to fight with the staff to get them to keep it on the footy!! - they are addicted to their soaps!!
