Bet - I spent absolute ages typing a long involved post to you .Only gonna repost part of it again now.Because the forum is darn well down for Tuesday night I lost the whole lot when I hit send <GRR> Not going to do it all over again.
Please contact me via email & I will even give you my home number so that we can chat if you wish.I promise that will even call you back if you leave a message,I feel so strongly about this.I beg you not to stay there & ruin your family holiday.I presume you are like most people here & save for your holiday each year & look forward to spending time with your family or partner.Well your holiday will be ruined if you stay here.
I would hate to think that anyone from the forum stayed at this hell hole villa.Do not waste your time & money.The owner can talk the talk but sure can't walk the walk.You have no doubt been sucked in by the nice friendly emails that you have received as I also was.
I have been travelling OS & Australia for 35 years & never come across such a Cra- & mismanaged place.If we tried do get away in Australia - what she does we would have Consumers Affairs on our back,be on either Current Affair or Today Tonight or be dragged through the Courts & be bankrupt.
She lives in Ubud & does not give a shi- about her property or people she rents it to.I have even spoken to several expat friends in Ubud & they understand why no one knows of her & why she keeps to herself.They said no honest expats would want to know her!
It took 9 emails before she finally contacted us on Day 4 of 7.This was in spite of the fact that we complained to the staff every day from the time we arrived & considering that we were locked out of the property when we arrived at the designated time ! Her attitude is basically nothing more than lies & broken promises.
Even Putu Les who we have been friends with for a long time & has been a well respected travel agent for many years -even posted on BTF that he can understand after looking at the 2 websites why we we sucked in ! So it is not just me & you who would be conned.
I have finally finished my 5th course of antibiotics & 4th course of ear drops/creams.Been seeing Doctor on a weekly basis for a resistant ear infection as a result of the green swimming pool.I am still 1/2 deaf & am off to the ENT specialist tomorrow.Yes,I know I was an idiot to go into a green pool but when the air con & fan is
absolutely useless,the water pressure in the shower barely works you do anything to cool off when you are so hot you think you will pass out.
There is so much more I could say but the main thing is PLEASE don't do it! Contact your bank,Paypal,your travel insurance or come up with some sort of excuse to her & see if she will give you even some of your money back.Otherwise just count your loses.Whatever you do do not stay there ! I really wished you had read my posts before you paid any money.
