seemed to be a lot of people working in shops who told me they are from Java and all just as nice and friendly as the locals, remeber in the old days before they cleared off a lot of the very aggressive street sellers locals often told me they where rude and aggressive because they where from Java, but it was probably the oppurtunity for a quick dollar that made it that way, if you told them they are wasting there time and how was business they would settle down and have a nice friendly chat with you and not bother you for rest of trip, funny last trip can't recall getting hassled more than once or twice by agressive street seller - in the old days it used to happen every dozen steps you took outside the hotel!
