PB weren't helpful but eventually changed my flight to a direct one to Denpasar after I kicked up a stink pointing out that they had changed the flight not me. I was fortunate to be able to extend my holiday at both ends to get direct flights but this isn't an option for everyone.
To those who say that all airlines change flight times I say that the crucial difference is in the way airlines compensate paying customers for the inconvenience they have caused. PB seems to have done the very minimum in this regard.
