don't stress, have stayed here on 5 seperate occassions. This is not a 5 star resort - so if your wife is precious about luxury this is not the place. It is a great hotel for position, can't be beaten, opposite the beach, next to some of Legains best restaurants. Great gardens. We first visited when our children were 6 and 9 they are now 17 and 20!! It is great for families, lots of other families and your children will make friends and have so much fun. We still have close friends that we catch up with that we met a Jayakarta. The hotel is clean, the staff are great and the interconnecting rooms are brilliant for families. You can still get a bit of time together when you close that interconnecting door from your side. It is a big hotel and can be a bit "bogan" but hey live and let live. It is a vibrant happy great positioned place. During the last trip we also stayed at Padma - we preferred the pools at Jayakarta after a decade of comparing hotels we continue to return.
