I would not describe Jayakarta as a dive. Some of the rooms are a little out dated and in need of an upgrade but the facilities are good. It is in a great position, right on the beach and amongst some really good restaurants. For the amount of time you are actually in the room, they are fine. The only problem that we had there were the mozzies so take one of those plug-in mozzie repellant thingies and put it on when you go out to dinner. Oh...... and the brekkie here was great on our last visit! Enjoy.
