It depends where you are coming from, if you live in a warm area you may need something warmer for night, if you are coming from a colder place than you may feel hot. I feel the cold in my bones, thus the reason for moving to Bali, today it's the third day of rain in our area and it's chilly. We have an open air house so no closing out the wind.
In May-Aug I wear jeans and a long sleeve top at night in Bali.
