We stayed there last year in Room 147, right in front of the pool on the ground floor. It was the most expensive room they had, can't remember what the clasifiation was, but cost us about $45 a night. We knew it was only two stars and had read all the bad posts so didn't expect much. We were pleasantly surprised. Ok the bath leaked when you had a shower, but hey, its bali, it dries. The staff where great, brought our breakfast to our patio every day, the pool and pool bar where great and the prices where reasonable. It has a massage hut next to the pool, also good and reasonable prices.
I guess everyone has their own story to tell, but for the price if you don't expect much, you may like us be pleasantly surprised.
