Whatever you and the seller are happy with!
Watch what other people are paying!
True Prices in an area are what a seller is willing to take without letting you walk away without the sale!
Some sellers know they have a good chance of making a better profit with the next person that comes along so you just go to another seller if you think its too expensive!
Cruel you may say? not really as you tend to give them a bit more in the end and buy more from the same seller later on!
It would be good to compare fixed price shops with good street bargains for same items but i would say fixed price shops would be more just for the convenience of not bargaining, otherwise why would they be there?
By having a street price list or guide i think some may not end up buying the things they may have bought without a price guide because they cant get it for the same as the price guide states, thus not a bargain so wont buy it!
Buying in different areas and different times can change a sellers bottom line.
I think its more fun bargaining as you go,you win some and you lose some.
