is plenty plenty to have a very good holiday in Bali!
Take some sort of back up though, I would love a dollar for the amount of people i have seen at the airport with not enough money to pay the departure tax or excess baggage!
I go to Bali at least twice a year and budget around $100 per day between two adults and most times only spend around $50 per day between us! This is just spending money for food/drinks/goods.
Personally we would struggle to spend $100per day between us but have it with back up.
Plan what you would like to do and see in Bali then factor these costs into the holiday price and keep your spending money separate.
I budget every trip as if I was still backpacking and cant see the point in throwing money away!
Most hotels include breakfast so you only need to buy lunch/dinner/snacks and drinks then the tons of stuff you want so badly that will usually end up left at customs or gathering dust in the spare room at home!
Be as wise with your money in Bali as you would at home! Bali is very cheap compared to home so you tend to spend more just because everything is so cheap!
Try not to run up bills at the hotel on drinks and food its always much cheaper to buy outside the hotel and there is lots of choice from expensive to ridiculously cheap!
There is a big difference between Budget Bali travelers and not so Budget Bali travelers with the amounts that get spent and each to their own, after all its your holiday so spend what you can afford or want to spend!
This can all go out the window for the first time Bali visitors "Spending" or "Non spending" from the minute you walk out of the airport!
Have fun, take some extra just in case but dont throw it away because things are cheap, as it can all mount up in the end.
