I have travelled with injections in my hand luggage with no problems. I carry a letter from my specialist, explaining the need for this, but have never been asked about it when going through airport security. I once travelled with it in my checked in lugguge, in a cool pack etc, but it was warm by the time we got there due to lengthy delays in departure. Getting a script filled at the other end is a hassle, and in my case would be nigh on impossible.
