Just stayed there, one night is enough I thought. Nothing much around the area I don't think but not sure. Eating at the resturant is an experience in itself, eating while watching the lions. Did the night Safari, very good also. Room rate includes park entry and a Safari tour but not entry to the water park side of it, which isn't much anyway, but a good cool down and wasn't expensive anyway. Hope this info helps.
