I have never used sea mail so I cannot offer any advice on that method of postage.

The best postal service I have used over several years is EMS. ( Express Mail Service?)

I live in regional NSW and have never waited more than five days before the goods are delivered to my home by Australia Post.

Unless there has been a dramatic price rise since last August, a 20kg consignment will cost approx. AU#200.

If you keep the value of the goods below AU$1000 and do not include any goods requiring quarantine inspection and/or fumigation, then the original amount paid to the Post Office is your total cost, with no duty or GST payable.

There is a non-negotiable limit of 20kg per box/consignment, and if more you will be asked to remove some goods until this requirement is satisfied.

Several small Post Offices are to be found in Kuta and Legian, with one outside Bintang Supermarket.

For maximum service I have always used the large Post Office on Jl Teuka Umar in Denpasar.

I hope this helps.
