i have stayed at the baleka for the last 4 years and will not be staying there again. They do not fog as often as they should so there is a lot of mosquitos, the staff are not helpful if you want a game of pool usually the staff are playing. When there is a power shutdown there is no back up generator, breakfasts are terrible, if you make a booking good luck on finding out your room is booked when you get there I even booked mine with the owner and got there to find there was no booking made. The beds have bed bugs and the lady next door to me in march found there were ants living in the toilet paper holder. On the renovation subject I cant see that been finished till sept oct and it is a pain that you cannot use that entrance. On the good side it is cheap especailly the rooms by the pool you should be able to get them for 250.000 rp some of the staff are ok and the location is good.
