Hey!!! I don't want 2 go into too much detail because the situation makes me so angry! Please keep in mind that my boyfriend & I have stayed in backpackers all over Aus & neva whispered a word of complaint so my expectations of accommodation r not high.
To start with our room was not ready 4 six hrs till after we arrived... It was ready @ 8pm. Annoying considering we wanted 2 have a shower & get settled in. The linen on our bed was not changed once in 10 nights. A number of times r dirty towels were taken & new ones not left.
I came into the room one arvo 2 find 3 cleaners in there trying on our sunglasses & having a great time laughing. I was really annoyed & felt like it was a breach of privacy that they had gone through our stuff. Later that day I found that a long neck bintang on our fridge had been drunk & only a mouthful left & put back in fridge.
I told the receptionist on duty the next day bout what happened & he hardly spoke English so I told him I would speak 2 the manager when I checked out.
On our last day late checkout had been organized by our travel agent & was on our itinary. Hours before we were due 2 check out our door keys stopped working. Fortunately some cleaners were on the same floor & let us in... Funny though... They asked 4 no proof that it was our room & we really could have been anyone.
When we checked out it went from bad 2 worst. We spoke 2 the manager & told him bout our problems. I learnt the hard way that the customer is NEVER right at Breezes. I was called a liar & shown false cleaning reports. I was told the day I spoke 2 a male receptionist & reported the incident no male had worked... Strange that everyday I was there a male had worked on reception. At the end of our discussion I was shaking & almost in tears. I would not speak 2 a dog the way the manager spoke 2 me.
I have later found out that the new owner is like the 'Godfather' of Bali & can control the police... God help u if something actually gets stolen from ur room.
It's a nice resort but there r so many in Bali please don't waste ur time with these horrible ppl.
