Hi,

I am an ex Customs officer. I can try to help answer your question if you like. Cant guarantee but ill give it a go. If you dont wish to put the question on here you can email me. My email is open.
If you do decide to go ahead with the complaint, there is an area on the Customs website as someone said, called compliments and complains. You fill in the form with all the required details and the story of what happened, and it will take up to 3 working days to let you know they have received your complaint, and up to a further 10 working days to investigate and answer you. Put in as much information as you can of what actually happened like times, dates, names etc so the investigating officer can follow it all up.. This helps for a quicker responce. Also include your phone number as they may ring you if they need further information..
