& then went up to Amed. We are middle aged & the wife isn't that much into the water, but she did enjoy the snorkeling here.
We stayed at Kembali Villas & whilst nice would probably try somewhere else next time. Have also stayed at "life in Amed", both places are right on the beach & interesting coral & fish life straight off the beach. Pieter_n_Rhonda (who also post on this site) stayed next door from Kembali in Amed Cafe & Hotel, which they seemed to enjoy. We had dinner there one night which was quite good.
One suggestion though is to buy a pair of wetsuit booties & take with you, as the coral & rocks on the the beach can be a little uncomfortable under foot.
