is fairly "remote", and getting around the place will require transport of some sort as the strip is quite spread out.
The hotels will often be able to take you around, but taxis as such will not be available on the street.
Having said that, it is a restful place and the snorkelling off stoney or black sand beaches there can be very good.
I think I would split my trip into a couple of areas, and don't discount Pemuteran and the snorkelling at Menganjan Island (although a small boat ride is required)
