"De Chy a holistic healing centre in Benesari St, Legian opposite Taman Ayu II
email - de_chy_healing@yahoo.com
Open every day except Sunday.
The owner is Lacinta and her son Alfonze and they have great staff, though I will admit it won't be for everyone, especially those who expect it to be like a day spa and like a soft massage.
Treatments include
Acupuncture - it is done in conjunction with electrode therapy (like physiotherapists use) You also get a massage after this which is hard as it stimulates the needle pressure points, Because I was there for a major back problem and I am fairly large in build (size 16) Lacinta walked on my legs and back to massage it deep enough!!
Reflexology - (properly, not just a foot massage)
Acupressure
Cupping (a good friend gets this here and swears by it) Cupping is an ancient Chinese therapy in which a cup is applied to the skin and the pressure in the cup is reduced (either by heat or suction) in order to draw and hold skin and superficial muscles inside the cup. Sometimes, while the suction is active, the cup is moved, causing the skin and muscle to be pulled. This is called gliding cupping.
Chiropractic/Osteopathy
Massage - shiatsu, balinese taksu, thai, hawaiian. The massage is usually quite strong so you would have to tell them if you wanted a gentler one.
Best of luck and let us know how you go
