Air Asia question

I think i read somewhere that these days on Air Asia inflight payments for food, beverage and portable media players can only be made by credit card?

Have just been reading the posts about credit card fraud, and if the above info is correct then i can't see how cash is going to be "king" when i travel via Air Asia?
