You'd be lucky to fit 2 adults, 3 kids and 5 large suitcases into two airport taxis anyway. The boot in those taxis is pretty small.
As others have said, the taxis will cost you Rp50K each anyway, so if you've been quoted Rp100K for a van, just take it - a bonus is that the family will be kept together, rather than in separate cars.
Also, it's not too expensive at all. Sure you could probably get it for Rp80K, but you're talking about arguing over $2.50. Chances are the driver will be waiting at the airport for you while you come through immigration and collect luggage etc, so I'm sure he's earned the couple of dollars extra.
