After I had Dengue, I returned 10 times to Bali. I have not had Dengue since the first attack.
Now when I am in Bali, I avoid staying in the same room as someone going through a Dengue attack. I also use a tropical strength insect repellent around my ankles, neck and hands, particularly in the evening.
