until I emphasized that I didn't want to withdraw cash from my credit card. It took three trips to the bank before they understood. Three days before we flew out they gave me a Cirrus card where I could access cash in my savings account. Cash rates on VISA cards are horrendous. We only use ATMs. Been swindled too many times by money-changers so would rather pay the extra fees.
