Freogirl, would you mind telling me the name of your bank which enables you to do international transfers using the internet. I would be interested in opening an account with them for that purpose. We can instruct our bank via the internet to do a transfer, but it is still done by them, and charged, as a TT. We overcame the problem by opening an account at the CBA in Australia, and giving the card to our associate in Bali. When funds are deposited here in OZ, she then withdraws them at a ATM in Bali. The fees are substantially less than the cost of a TT. But I don't think that method is what Nicky wants to use. Regards.
