We were only in Amed for 2 nights so we ate at the Amed Cafe and Sails Restaurant. We highly recommend Sails and if you call them they will organise free transport to pick you up.
Amed Cafe was good too. Not really up there with Sails but it was fine.

As for getting around, we were really surprised at how spread out Amed is and also how quiet the roads are. I think next time I would almost consider hiring a car or motorbike it's that quiet. (I have never considered this an option before in Bali as I think we'd end up screaming at each other, crying and probably divorced).

Amed is really a place to go and chill out. You can snorkel if you want to or go out on one of the little boats with the local fisherman.

I know m_m who post on here are regular visitors to Amed so they may have some recommendations for you.

Have a great time!
