"Star disc" DVD also sell sim cards. They are to the left of Tommy's leather in Padma on the RHS, heading towards Legian St. They will set the sim card up for you.
In regard to the Kodak shop it is now a Circle K and the lady who ran the money changer is in there with a money changer counter.
