I have read the other posts and I would not change my mind
Whilist WA life can get a bit pricey (groceries, housing)
Schooling and health is too expensive in Indonesia to the standards in Australia. My children have far more opportunities in Australia.
Its hard to get good workmen in Indonesia, if essentials (power/water) are disrupted its a longtime until these are restored
They would have to leave their extended family and whilst they will make new family, the change is not fair to them.
I think people should consider when there children have grown up and you can be self-sufficient in Bali.(Have lots of resources of your own). And give more to the Indonesions and then live out the holiday dream. We have to earn Australian dollar and contribute to this beautiful Bali.
