I also did homeschool...it was correspondence from vic aust.. the kids missed out on so much ..it may be different these days...our teacher was also a surfer and took them for sport so we were lucky there, you may say the culture in riches them and it does, it teaches them to be humble, hopefully ...but after primary school they want more...having said that my daughter is now a teacher in Aust.
Money it's all economics you earn less but you spend less as long as you live as a local... good luck with your decision... I hope you go and give it a go... keep you heart open and your choices
