I would move back to bali for 2 lots of 3 months with 3 months in between. I love bali like you all. I lived there for 10 years and i think the first 2 years are the hardest, especially if you are not directly connected with the balinese, although these times are very different. schooling is very expensive especially for what is available, and then what opportunities are available for the the kids there if they are not to do business...or are you to send them away for secondary school as we all did ...missing your children is something else... if any of us had our time again..i'm not sure
my advise...only my advise...nothing else.... if you have a house...don't sell it... put your precious things in storage and try for 6 months or a year and see how you go... it is very different from holidaying... can be very stressful until you get the swing of it all... give yourself a chance and then think again
