Hotel ideas? Champagne taste/Beer Budget

Just wondering if anyone can assist with some accommodation for a "middle aged, young woman" travelling solo mid year. Usually travel with husband & teens but am having a momentary 'escape' on the back of some recent bargain flights.

In an effort to try to keep the trip a complete bargain, I am seeking decent accomm at bargain basement prices. (I know this is a challenge). Does anyone know of some new accom. that may have soft opening specials, upcoming sales of brand hotels etc?
