I, of course, never claim to be of any particular use on here and feel free to post what I like. Oh! There's a thought maybe Baldie does too.
I have been to Thailand twice and can see the attraction of the country although unfortunately had to stay in Pattaya due to a family problem so really saw the bottom of the barrel in terms of Thailand. I did however enjoy Bangkok. The money changing, transport and airport were very much more efficient than Indonesia.
I didn't actually realise that you and Baldie had met. Maybe I missed that particular JBR. Or did you and Karen invite him for drinks on the beach. It must have been a quick drink though because I have met him a few times and he is absolutely not as you depict him. Ah well never mind we all make mistakes.
