Accomodation recommndations

Hi,
I've just booked cheap jetstar airfares to Bali ($225 return :D ) for 1-10 August. I haven't booked any accommodation yet and was wanting a couple of recommendations. Previously I have stayed at the Jayakarta, Breezes and Bali Rani a couple of times.

As I'm going again at Christmas and staying at the Dynasty, I'm not looking for a flash hotel. I have friends stayng at the BGH at that time so wanted to know how that is but also any recommendations for a CLEAN hotel with a good sized pool area in a good central location. Probably of a 3 star?
